This outlet has been powering my housemate's computer and Xbox for a while now. The surge protectors work just fine, but when you need to unplug something the whole unit comes out of the socket. It would wwork better if it screwed into the socket cover screw hole.

This is exactly what I needed. I have a surge protector for my desktop computers and printers, but I didn'thave one I trusted for my laptop and Chromebook.
