This purchase was made upon being told by a friend that it could help maintain a blood sugar balance. Having already been informed about cinnamon regulating blood sugar levels and since already using cinnamon and licorice teas to help manage my level, it seemed like a step toward simplicity to merely take a stronger dose of cinnamon in capsule form. Since taking it, I would be hard pressed to declare that it has made a distinct difference in lowering or even balancing my blood sugar per the fasting blood glucose reading each morning. It is probable that trying to keep it balanced with natural products and ways would never accomplish what prescribed medicines or treatments would afford. I don't know as I am considered pre-diabetic. Some days the level is down and other days the level is up irregardless of taking the cinnamon capsules. It seems it primarily hinges on what foods have been consumed for the day.

No where near as good as LifeExtension Tri Sugar Shield. The Cinsulin brought my blood sugar down about 10 points, but the Tri Sugar Shield dropped my blood sugar level by more than 40 points in three weeks, and it is still dropping and approaching normal range.

My personal experience with supplements is that most are either pseudo-scientific bunk or not medically necessary. Many people pop vitamin pills with no good reason for doing so. Having said that, though, trunature CinSulin does seem to be effective at helping to keep blood sugar within a normal range in individuals whose blood sugar has started to creep into the realm of "high normal". This was supported by normal fasting lab results that prompted my primary care physician to not re-prescribe a very expensive medication that I revealed I had run out of weeks earlier. But I cannot stress this enough: It is not a treatment for diabetes. And as always, your mileage may vary.
