Fun build for tinkerers!

Cool little kit for sure! Not going to bolt directly up to any bike but if you have some improve skills.... Someone said this already, check the bearing cap on motor overrunning pulley frequently. Overvolt if you want something more than a mediocre kids toy!
Hard installation (modifications required)

This kit was very hard to install, and required a lot of modification both to the mounting plate and to the bike.
Now that it is on the bike I actually really like it. But if you don't have your own shop and confidence to mount things yourself it can be very daunting. It is not recommended for the beginner.
I ended up just using 40 V battery packs that I got from Harbor freight, and they were great with a 36 V kit, I get about 2 1/2 miles of range with that. That is plenty for the family bike rides that we go on.
This was written on day two and I've only taken it out twice but so far so good.
I would say that if you are building something from scratch and not trying to retrofit the bike this works extremely well. If you're trying to fit this on an existing bike as a plug and play option just now but it will require a lot of work.
Week update: Things are still holding up. I ended up switching which bike this would go on because I found a cheap Walmart bike. Surprisingly I had to basically put the mounting plate back to the way it came with the kit. So if you are looking for a bike that this will fit on with only slight modification.

Pros and cons based on personnel experience.
Pros:
No issues with electronics. Easy to understand and connect. Motor can rotate the rear wheel while paddling hence increasing the speed even more.
Cons: The mount isn't universal and had to make a custom bracket as shown in the image. Thumb controller is not easy to fit. A few extra pins/jumpers/plus could be provided.
Overall:
For power, I used 2x Lead batteries (12v 9ah) in series. The cycle is pretty heavy with added motor and battery hence the pickup is slow.
The chain alignment with the given rear sprocket took some good effort. had to add a few washers here and there.

Well as stated by others this is a kit that might have to be adjusted to fit your frame. I put it on an old beach cruiser and had to reshape the bracket a bit and if only bolts to one side of the rear frame and axle but it works great. It just took a bit of persistence and home engineering.
