did not expect much for the price. When they arrived they were compactly packed in a small plastic pouch. When I opened them they seemed thin and cheaply made. Was I pleasantly surprised when i actually used them. They were easy to put on, and worked very well. The velcro used is wide and heavy duty. My only caution is be sure to buy the right size. I do no have muscular legs and the pair bought just fit. Used them on pull on and laced boots, walking several miles in 6+ inches of snow. They kept my pants dry and snow free. They stayed in place also. Very satisfied.

I bought these back in October 2022 when they were about 7.99 a pair. After that I went on a three day hunting trip and must have walked at least 5 miles a day through deep snow. These performed amazingly. Even though I had excellent boots I still found them to be really useful.
Now my wife and I are planning a 9 to 10 mile hiking trip and I'm kicking myself for not having bought a second pair. Despite the price hike I was still was very impressed and will be buying another pair for her.

These work great at keeping the snow out of my boots but they are not idle for my situation. I use them daily, putting them on and off several times, when we have a lot of snow on the ground (about 1/4+ of winter where I'm at). But they are not convenient to put on as each time you have to re-thread the buckles. So most of the time I don't even bother with them and just leave the bottom under shoe one loose enough to slip on and off.
