Although this product did not have written instructions, the accompanying booklet has a pictorial showing what each wire is used for. You simply cannot attach the wires wrong. Initially, there was a problem with the controller, but a message to JauoPay and they corrected it in short order. The unit performs better than expected and I couldn't be happier with the service I received.

Really happy with this so far. All the parts work well. Brakes cut off motor and throttle has a nice battery gauge. Got it installed easily and used it several times. Only drawback is the rim did not come with a liner to protect the innertube from the spoke holes. Learned the hard way! Be sure to add torque arms as this motor has a lot of power.

Has an automatic power reducer that drops to 500 watt usage after the battery hits 50%power left.

The kit arrived in good shape and appears to be very good quality. The display is a bit lacking; while the description shows a display with speed, trip time, total distance, etc, the included display only provides one piece of info (battery state with 4 bars). Problem is, after fully charging to 54.9V (settled to 53.7V in a few moments after the charge), only three bars light up, the fourth is dark. The PAS is not adjustable so when you start to peddle, it seems to want to go to near full throttle, too fast for what I want. When using the twist throttle (which is quite smooth and comfortable), if I start to peddle, it immediately wants to go up to 25+ mph, too fast. If I disable PAS, it works fine as a motorcycle with pedals. It's very strong, excellent on hills and quite easy to get accustomed to, but I built it for my wife who is not interested in winning acceleration races, so I guess I'll just disable PAS altogether. I had already installed a cat eye computer on this bike so I can measure most of the other things I thought the bike display would show (minutes of this trip, miles, total miles, speed, cadence, etc) so not having a full display is not really a drawback for me, but I wish I could find a way to adjust the PAS setting. Don't be put off by the wooden box; it is temporary and will look much more permanent when I can finish making the box. The battery is 52 cells of Tesla 21700 batteries (13S-4P) and provides 1 KW-HR of energy but this makes the battery pack too big to fit in a "standar" 18650 pack box. I will probably move the battery to a bike rack over the rear wheel to allow the step through feature of the bike to work better. All in all, very happy with the conversion.

Wasn't hard to install after looking at the wiring chart on the Amazon sales page. Maybe the chart should be included in the kit? Seems to be high quality and goes quick and quiet down the road. It's necessary to pedal some going up steep hills, but it's not a motorcycle. I like it.
