Who knew your life could get better by having an old-school radio but this thing is qual. Good sound, easy old school controls. Am I old? Not super old, maybe I am, who knows. But I love this thing. Good sound quality, easy to tune, long enough antennae to get good reception where I am. Very nice.

I've bought two of these radios for my daughter and they sure take a beating and keep on working through it all. The first one was thrown around, the antenna ripped off, even dropped into a sink of dish water only to dry out and continue to work perfectly. A bit later it was left outside in the rain and cold and after that it was done but we've got another and it's the best. Will purchase again and again. Comes in handy when the power goes out too. Buy one for each family member! Worth it and then some!

I'm glad this radio comes with an AC cord. My old radio kept eating batteries as it got older. I'm glad I won't have to rely on batteries to use the radio. Volume control is little tricky. I have to turn the volume up and then turn it down to get a low volume. Not a big deal, just had to figure it out.

This is just what I was looking for emergency use. Our WiFi and internet was knocked out by work done outside the house. All we could do was retire to bed early, without television, internet or radio. This radio is ac/dc and it does pick up radio stations without static. Would be great in power outages.
