Excellent sound and good reception on AM and FM bands. Simple and easy to use controls. AM works best with radio away from electrical interference. Turn internal antenna (usually across the top) towards signal. FM reception is best with the telescopic antenna fully extended. Some radios use the earphone wire or a wire in the wrist strap for FM reception. AM reception improves dramatically during nighttime hours.
