This bike is engineered and fabricated to very high standards. Attention to detail of all components is amazing. They designed the members to achieve the highest strength with the lightest weight. The welding and fabrication is outstanding,
The bikes suspension works well. The front forks are adjustable both with compression via air pressure regulation and adjustable dampening by dial on the top of the right fork. It also includes a "lock out" setting to stop fork travel for stand up peddling. Rear shock is not adjustable but works well for this 190 lb rider.
Brakes are strong one finger hydraulic disks front and rear, very predictable.
9 speed "shifter" works well with handlebar mounted indicator to tell what gear your in.
Seat gel pad is comfortable. I added an additional gel pad.
The motor is adequate but at 350 watts you have to stand and peddle on grades over a 30 degree angle. The re-generation works well to help charge the battery when going down hill. (you have to have the PAS setting at 1 to re-gen.) After several 18 mile rides it still had over 60% battery left. It also has a "walk" mode when you push and hold the (-) button on the PAS controller.
I have 100 miles on it now and love it. It only weighs 52lbs.
On the down side, it didn't come with a riders manuel which I have asked for several times. Also the assembly line forgot the bushing on the center pin of the rear shock rocker plates so I made one after I noticed the rear swing arm had developed some play. I advise disassembly and greasing of all moving parts.
Great bike. I don't think it would do well on hard core rocky mountain trails over the long haul but for dirt and paved roads its well worth the $1,620 cost. Mine is the "Plus" model ($100 more) which has a color display which works well in bright light.
