Very smooth

I like WORX products. Bought this Aventon-WORX e-bike from Lowes due to some sale, quite easy to install, the bike is not heavy, for me it is light, the motor is smooth and quiet even during climbing up some small hill.

Update #1: 5.0 Ah battery also works fine.
Update #2: 4.0 Ah PRO battery works ok, but not very responsive, can be used as back up though.
Great electric assisted bike, a few minor quality details to note

Overall a great ride, you can operate easily between any of the five modes. They range from no assist, to easy pedal or full electric. Plenty of speed and torque. The manufacturer recommends always start pedaling even in the assist mode and that's simple & easy enough to do. I oversee our community HOA and often called out to build sites or various meet up's somewhere on our couple miles of paved roads. This bike is perfect for the task, in the first week I've traveled ~10 miles and still have 3/4 charge left on the batteries. Overall construction is heavy duty and as noted, the batteries are interchangeable with some of your power tools. If you want additional range OEM batteries are pricy but aftermarket ones are readily available up to 6 AH and I expect prices will continue to drop. If available I would have rated the bike at 4 1/2 stars due to a few minor issues. The grommet protecting the cables going into the battery compartment wasn't installed properly and I had to repair it. Most irritating, the reflectors provided don't fit anywhere on the bike frame as the brackets are are for a conventional bike and the tubes on this one are larger/more heavy duty. Regardless, a great ride!!
Great product but batteries don't last as they should

I'm going to give this four stars because there are a couple issues I see number one it doesn't handle wind very well it doesn't handle up hills very well and the batteries don't last as long as promised it's a decent bike could use a bigger motor
So nice!

Really easy to assemble out of the box (if you have put bikes together before). This bike is very comfortable, rides smoothly, and the electric assist is fantastic. I recently had a knee injury, and this really helps get me on the trail again! The battery life is not quite as large as some bikes in this price range, but the modular batteries are really cool. I stow an extra in a storage bag on the bike, just in case I run out.
Great basic e-bike with a few issues

First off I do want to say that this is a very comfortable and good basic e-bike. Getting it out of the box and assembling took a little bit of time but nothing too crazy if you are able to follow directions.

Just the bicycle part alone without any of the electronic assistance is a quality bicycle. The brakes are great and the gears shift very smoothly without any major issues. When you add in the e-bike part it really does start to shine. I took the bike on an initial ride and my first impressions were were mostly positive. The LCD screen is bright and easy to read even in the daylight. The bike comes with five levels of assistance and you can even choose to keep it at 0 assistance in ride it as a normal bicycle. For my purposes of just wanting a little bit of assistance from the start I mostly kept it at level 1. Other than assisting with starting out really levels one and two don't offer much in the way of assistance. Level three however is where you'll start to feel a boost at cruising speeds or going up hills. Putting it all the way up to level five you can go very easily 20 mph while doing some basic pedaling. On a flat stretch on level 5 in the highest gear I was able to get it up to around 23 mph without straining too much. It also has a throttle that allows you to just go pure electric without pedaling at all. I only took about an 8 mi ride but it didn't appear to use any battery at all and I'm clocking in at around 185 lbs. Obviously this will vary depending on the terrain, the weather, and how much pedal assist you use.

Even though my impressions were mostly positive I can't give this product five stars for two reasons. The first is that there are some small quality control issues, on my first ride I made it about 3 mi and heard a large piece of plastic hit the sidewalk. After turning around and looking to find out what happened it was clear that the kickstand had completely fallen off of the bicycle. It looks like there's a screw that is designed to keep it in place but for whatever reason it was missing and there was nothing securing the kickstand. Second major reason that I can't give this five stars is that I don't know that I don't see the value in this model of Aventon over the newer Pace models. If you do a little bit of research on these bicycles it appears that the Power Share model is using primarily older technology from their first run of Pace bicycles. The e-bike market is really flooded right now so I won't get into pricing between all the different various Chinese bicycles or even trying to compare the different Aventon models, but solely looking at the Pace 350 and Pace 500, the newer models are currently selling for $1,200 and $1,400 respectively. The newer Pace model has various upgraded components over this one which is using older parts, including a newer display, integrated headlights and tail lights among other improvements. The Pace 500 also provides more range and speed than the 350. Both are priced lower than the selling price of the Power Share Pace with inferior technology. For that reason alone I just don't see the value in this bicycle over the newer models. The only exception would be if you are really invested in the Power Share ecosystem and have several batteries available and ready to swap in and out. I do think the Power Share aspect of this bike is unique and does give a little bit of an advantage since the batteries are easier to procure on the open market, but I don't know if it's worth the extra premium for older e-bike technology.
