Hot for a little while and then loses heat

Worked well for 7 years, then quit. Red light flickers and shuts off. Got hot well and relatively quickly and then seemed to lose heat and only stay lukewarm. Times out in 45 minutes. But the problem is that the hot part is only for a few minutes and can't stay hot.
Not good. Very cheaply made.

It was advertised as$39 marked down to $12, but $12 was way too much for this. Very cheaply made, the cover was too large and bunched up. Overall not anything I would recommend.

This heating pad seemed like a winner, but after just a few months it stopped working. When turned on, it immediately shifts to the blinking "off" light. I've tried unplugging and plugging back in and it still doesn't work. My previous heating pad I had for over 5 years! This is a LEMON!
If I didn't need it so bad right away I would have sent it back

Every time I plug it in and turn it on, it shuts off. I have to unplug it and plug it back in several times before it finally stays on. Has done it since the first day I got it. If I didn't need it so bad right away I would have sent it back. Also on the lowest setting it gets so hot I have to cover it with a towel and put it in a pillow case just to get a comfortable low heat setting. It's a pain, would not recommend purchasing this heating pad.
