Walked 8 miles through the sage and brush without getting any dirt or debris in my 4.5 inch tall boots. All my buddies made fun of them at first then wanted to know where I got them from. I am an extremely handsome 5'11 man with a 10.5 inch shoe and the large was perfect. Will never go hunting again without these on.

The velcro closure on the front seems a bit strange given that debris will likely accumulate there but after two uses that doesn't seem to be a performance issue.
