Cover problems

The size is great, the product works good, but the cover SUCKS. The fabric is extremely slippery on the inside so it slides all over the place constantly. On the second night of use, I woke up to the one long side's stitching had totally come apart. When the cover was stitched together at the manufacturer, there was hardly any seam allowance so it is impossible to re-stitch for a repair making the cover now useless. When my sciatica acts up and I need to use this longer heating pad, I have to take a couple hand towels and make a cover of my own with safety pins all around to form my own hand made slip cover (I do not own a sewing machine).
