My husband has had chemotherapy and as a result has thin skin on his lower legs. He recently got another cut on his leg requiring trips to the wound clinic. He now wears these anytime he's doing work that may pose a risk for cutting his legs. These protect him from injuries.

For all of you that do Armoring, this is actually perfect for putting in Greaves, Leather straps are more authentic but they come loose in combat and wear. This stuff made the greaves stay on even after a whole afternoon of Stick bashing. and all you need is a bit duct tape to put them in. Simply perfect

I'm 88 yrs. old and my shins get injured easily. I've tried other "gaiters" and socks but these are Perfect. Easy on Easy to attach and Easy Off.

Good material and construction.
For the last several months the material stayed unwrinkled despite being stuffed into a dirt bike helmet every day for around 15 minutes.
The Velcro is holding well still despite being under a fair amount of tension, none of the stitching is messed up.
They are comfortable and I could wear them all day probably.
The material repels debris pretty well, most light mud spatter just falls off after drying.
I haven't tried washing them yet, but I would probably do it by hand instead of in the machine
