Okay if your situation is pretty basic.

Summary: It doesn't work with some of my most important Z-Wave devices and I'm having connectivity issues with devices that worked well with Vera Lite.
Full Story:
I bought this to replace my Vera Lite which failed after 3.5 years of service. Installation was very easy and the phone app is very nice. Unlike Vera, there is no computer interface, you must use a phone or a tablet. At first I could not get any devices to pair with the Wink Hub 2. I called support and they were fantastic. I was on hold for about 2 minutes, but after being on hold I spoke to a real human with excellent English that helped me solve the issue.
Once I got most of my devices recognized by the Wink Hub2, I ran into another issue with the 3 way dimmer in my stairway. I was able to get the WH2 to recognize the dimmer, but it showed up as an unknown device. After another 20 minutes on hold, another support person with great English told me I was basically out of luck - the device is not supported. He told me he would add it to a list for consideration to be supported, but couldn't offer me any way to track whether or not it would get added. So, I hit the internet to find a solution and there may be a hack involving an Aeon Labs minimote. So, I've ordered one from Amazon hoping the hack works as advertised. I'm quite disappointed that the 3 way switch doesn't work because it is really a simple function (the 2nd switch just works like a remote control) and it's a safety issue on the stairs until it is resolved.
Aside from not working with my 3 way switches, I'm also having intermittent issues with connectivity of Z-wave devices that worked perfectly with the VeraLite. I've ordered a range extender to resolve those issues.
If the Minimote and Range Extender don't resolve my issues, I'll be returning the Wink Hub 2.

I never did get this working to the point that I felt it was worth the money. Honestly, I use Hue bulbs, Stringify and Nest. These pretty much get me where I want to be as far as home automation.
