Works as advertised and nice to know it has an automatic shut off in case you forget. My dog loooooves this carpet. She will curl right up on it and nap for hours. We have an addition to our house that has no basement underneath and the floors get really cold in winter. Got this for the floors but it does more than that. What a great product! This rug heater is the bomb! It's so nice to have our living room feel so comfortable and cozy! Before using our Hot Carpet I didn't even want to spend time in there. At first I didn't realize that it turned off automatically after 6 hours. It was my fault for not reading the instructions. I spoke directly to Jeff, the owner and creator of Hot Carpet. He explained everything I needed to know and followed up with me to make certain that I was happy. Who does this, especially these days?

For those of us who live where old farm houses are appreciated and the temp dips to freezing maybe 2 to 10 days a year, this is a life saver! My bath is 10x16, has a ten foot ceiling and huge windows, and also has tile floors which are delightful when the weather is it's usual balmy 90+ degrees. But when the temp drops below 50 degrees, that room becomes a meat locker! You cannot get it warm enough to comfortably take a shower.
This handy little rug turned my bath into the best room in the house during the week-long Jan. 2018 freeze. Where we usually have a gas heater going and an electric heater blowing right on the toilet, we just had this plugged in and even in 15-degree weather, you could shower in comfort. I will be buying the foot warmer to put at my desk.

I live in a house built in 1880. Even with a new furnace, it has been impossible to get the floor warm. I received the heated mat, laid it down, put my area rug over it and plugged it in. Within a few minutes, my thick rug was nice and warm. So 5 stars on the woo warmer heat output. I can not make any comments on the mats durability at this time. It seems to be made well.

I bought this to help keep my 92 year old mother's bedroom warm. It worked well for about three and a half months then just stopped working. However, the owner was very agreeable and helpful and sent me a new Hot Carpet. My mother loved being able to get up on a cold winter morning and stepping onto a warm carpet. It even helped keep the room warm. If you have an older parent in a cold climate, this is for you.
