This would have been 5 stars if not for one very annoying design flaw: the magnetic closure is really pathetic. Don't try reaching for a cup or anything, or it will pop right open. I'm using a binder clip for now until I can sew on snap closures.
The rest is great though. I love that it covers my shoulders, down to my lower back and that I can secure it around my waist and really press the heat into my lower back, which is almost constantly in pain.
The heat is adequate for my needs!

I like the Heating pad thus far. I am 6 ft 3, 200Lbs & the pad fits me ok so its not really for people that are small in stature as some other reviews alluded to but it may depend on your size, height & girth if this could work for you. it goes down to the end of my back & it heats up very fast & the Velcro lower strap keeps it secure to your body as well & the material is soft & comfortable. even on low mode it gets very warm but I normally use it on medium though, if you have it on high it does get fairly hot. my only complaint is the magnetic feature on the upper neck area of the pad. it is a bit hard for me to find the sweet spot to properly connect it together & that would have been better as a loop connection or hook in my opinion, other than than I don't have any other complaints. Hopefully it will last because I don't use it everyday, only on the occasion when I have some back discomfort. the power cord is also very long so you don't have to be very close to an AC outlet which is great.

I'm recovering from a big neurosurgery and this product has saved my both pre-op and post-op as I rebuild my neck muscles. I own multiple and find the micromink soft and inviting. I do think it gets hotter than the other heating pad I have that is not a Pure Enrichments product. I'm a big fan of Pure Enrichment heating pads.

Purchased this heating pad in October of 2022 and have been very happy with it until September of '23 It suddenly stopped working and none of the suggested trouble shooting fixes worked.
