I love the weight and size of this heating pad. And the moist aspect is very calming and pain relieving. There is a big jump from one temp to another. Goes from not quite hot enough to too hot in one step. I use an extra layer to manage it.

This heating pad is larger than some others, which is great, but the main thing is that it gets VERY hot, which is just the thing if you have severe joint pain. The only gripe is that the heat fades pretty quickly; I don't know if this is by design. Perhaps the manufacturer did it on purpose so that people will not burn themselves. The pad is also pretty heavy, but I don't mind that. Overall, this thing is a godsend for me. Very glad to have found it.
