Decent heating pad, still kind of works after 3 years if you bend the cord a certain way. Time for a new one.

This is a pretty good little heating pad! I wanted to write a review after having this heating pad for 1 year and 3 months now because a lot of bad reviews about the same thing that has been happening for me the last week. I have Crohn's disease so I sleep on a wedge pillow and I was sleeping on the couch while using this for the past year because it's easier on my back. When I started sleeping back in my bed a week ago, I started pulling the cord out of the heating pad with my legs (on accident). It's happened like 5 times now. Upon this happening, the heating pad started blinking red on the "high" function and wouldn't stop. So, every time this happens, I simply unplug the heating pad, secure the cord tightly into the heating pad, leave it unplugged for an hour or so and then when I plug it back in, irritating works great! I think maybe it's a hazard thing made for this type of situation? Like a code trying to tell everyone that something is wrong"¦ like the cord is not properly plugged in or it's over heated or something. I don't know, but when I do those steps, it works again every time. Also, I would try a different plugin maybe. Just wanted to leave an honest review and also leave my solution to see if it can help anyone with their blinking light problem! - This has been a great heating pad and I've been impressed! Like I said, I have Crohn's disease so I've been through my fair share and this one has definitely lasted the longest with the most consistent heating, and also doesn't scare me when I accidentally fall asleep on it as much as the other ones I've used. So, all in all, I think even if this heating pad did stop working, I wouldn't be upset. I wouldn't haven been upset if it stopped after only six months either because for $16, it's a good pad!

WOW, what a surprise this was. I had not expected it to be as great as it is.
It is so soft and feels great against my skin. The size is just perfect. Unlike my other one which I had been using since the dark ages. This was large enough to accommodate both my legs. Like I already mentioned about it being soft which my old one was not. It felt hard and would not conform to my legs and was not big enough for both of them.
I had compared several others before purchasing this one. This was the best price for the best value
Now I see they are in different colors. I just may purchase more to match different rooms LOL
The heat control is a good size that I can easily find it when using it in bed. It is not small with a switch to find the different heat levels but it is hand size with one button to switch on, off, and to select one of the 3 heat temperatures.
Another great feature is the length of the electrical cord. Not short as most of mine have been but long enough to reach a good distance. I used to have to position myself closer to the outlet in order to use it which was very uncomfortable. But with this one I do not have to do that. We can't always have an electrical outlet as close as we need it and the design of this has taken this into consideration.
I have used this several times now and mostly on my legs and feet as I get pain from shin splints and also muscle cramps in my sleep. Good to have it handy when this happens as it soothes in no time at all
I may just be using this to pre-warm my bed in the up coming winter temps.
I would highly recommend this is you are into the market for a heating pad.

I have had one like this for 5 years and it still works. I just needed a second one. This one is perfect for me.
