Perfect! Must have for delayed sleep phase disorder or

Essential for night owls

I have cronic insomnia and delayed sleep phase disorder. My doctor recommended that I take sleep hygiene seriously, mentioning that my bedroom should look like a cave: dark, cold, and silent.

I can sleep in a cave, but I am not a caveman! So I propose myself to use technology to reach the cave. My room automatically becomes a cave right before bedtime: the lights are turned down, the curtains close automatically, and the air conditioner sets the temperature. In the morning, the curtains open automatically, briguing light to my bed and proportioning me a better and healthier wake up.

Routine is essential for dealing with those medical conditions, so scheduling the entry of light in the room in a fixed fashion has been helping me to sleep better and waking up with more energy.

Investing in my sleep health was the best thing I ever did.

I didn't buy the Alexa hub, and it has been working so far with the Switchbot app. But I will probably buy the hub soon.

It is completely worth it! I highly recommend it for anyone who has any level of insomnia.

These are great. I bought 2 because we have a 12 foot picture window. You use one on each side of the curtains. The set up was very easy both physically and digitally. The hardest part was where my curtain rod has an extension piece in the middle and the robots have a hard time getting over it. The kit comes with metal comb looking things that are supposed to help the transition but they are garbage. The glue came off on the plastic and the metal didn't stick to anything. I wound up wrapping the transitions in painters tape and that worked great. I thought they were a bit pricey--200 for one big window, but we love that the windows are opened and closed each day whether we are there or not, so in the long run it is worth it. We have not used it with Alexa. We use the bluetooth with our internet which is fine.

Very happy with this product. Work seamlessly with the app and hub to combine with Alex. Tech wise is great! But it has some hard time passing the step of extension rod. Even though there is a bridge sticker in the box to fix that, but it's really an unpleasant look applying that on the rod. It only comes in steal colors, but I have a gold rod. Also there are a lot of wrinkles after apply the bridge sticker. Just not perfect. Hence the 4 stars

I like it for its functionality but what I think should be improved is the battery like, the battery just dies and we don't know what has happened why it's not working, the app should send notification if the battery is less than 10% I feel

I was a bit skeptical at first and after owning it for few months it is def one of best investments.

The set up took some time but doable with me and my husband. You need to buy TWO if you have curtains opening in the middle. Haha didn't know that initially and had to buy another one. Also you will need the HUB to connect it with your Google Home or other smart home hub.

It def does make some noise when it moves but not too bad. I set time daily to open at certain time and close at certain time. We rarely have to open or close except the time we set. It def makes the living room brighter without manually opening it and closing it. In the morning it opens and brings sunlight in. No issues for months so far and we love them. Great addition to your smart home!
